How to Use the Wordle Puzzle Template
Get ready to gamify your next presentation! Whether you want to set up an interactive vocabulary challenge locally using Microsoft PowerPoint or run a live word-guessing game online via Canva, customizing these puzzle slides is quick and effortless. Follow this step-by-step guide to unlock the grid, change the letters, and host an unforgettable game session:
For Microsoft PowerPoint Users
Step 1: Download and Unlock: Save the template file to your device. Open it in PowerPoint and click the yellow Enable Editing button on the top notification bar to fully unlock the letter boxes, color blocks, and mockups.
Step 2: Select Your Hidden Words: Pick the secret five-letter words you want your audience to guess. Click directly inside the empty square grids to type in the letters for each guess row, mapping out the progression of the game.
Step 3: Edit the Rules and Benefits: Click into the pre-arranged text blocks on the instruction and strategy slides to tailor the vocabulary rules, tips, or learning metrics to match your specific crowd.
Step 4: Update the Tile Colors: Select a letter square, head to the Shape Format menu at the top, and change the fill color. Use green for the correct letter in the right spot, yellow for the correct letter in the wrong spot, and gray for eliminated letters.
Step 5: Start the Game Show: Save your customized file, navigate to the Slide Show tab on the top menu, and select From Beginning to launch your interactive game night full screen.

Step 3: Change Tile Colors Instantly: Click a letter tile, tap the color square icon on the top toolbar, and choose green, yellow, or gray from the color panel to give your players live visual feedback on their guesses.

Step 5: Present Live Online: Review your complete deck, click the Present icon in the upper right corner to display your puzzle full screen directly from your web browser, and let your audience call out their answers!
